APPE Preceptors

Thank you for taking a student. This page is central hub for all training modules and resources for APPE preceptors.

 

Required Modules

New preceptors are required to complete these 2 modules prior to taking their first student. Returning preceptors are not required to complete these modules, but they may be helpful for a quick refresher and provide updates on details that change from year to year.

Upon completion of each module, please follow the link to document proof of completion.

  • APPE Preceptor Orientation

    This module will provide preceptors with an introduction to APPE rotations and explain preceptor roles and responsibilities.

  • Student Assessment

    This module will describe the preceptor assessment tool and how to use it. New APPE and EPE preceptors only need to complete this module once.
